Re: ANZ Starhawk night, Wed 13 June, 7:30pm AEST/9:30pm NZ

Had heaps of fun - thanks guys. Will definitely be on next week. Are there any other games during the week?  Also has anyone heard anything about servers for Aus or anything? I don't know why an Aussie host comes up as a yellow connection in the server list but an American one is green....

Guys voice your concerns to Sony.

ANZ want support, we paid money for a product and want quality servers. Refuse to accept a product that is substandard.

LBI & Sony have had literaly years to release a game worthy of our time & money.

Re: ANZ Starhawk night, Wed 13 June, 7:30pm AEST/9:30pm NZ

So when we host a game it is hosted on the Europe dedicated server?
Whatttttttt..

If I knew this, I would of imported a US version of the game.

Oceania have faced this problem before, with big games such as World of Warcraft. Initiailly, it was planned for us to be on European servers, but after enough pushing - players got their way and were zoned to US (The ping to US averages around 150-200 in NZ, while to Europe its 220+)

I don't know if there is enough player base to make them act, but maybe a petition on this forum or something of the like? I think it would be stronger to get their attention this way than to talk to some representitive on the phone who only has a certain set of troubleshooting answers to reply with.

Cant' stand customer service lines..

:smileytongue: Just me though!

That's a good point Asator raises. There's just not enough demand here for us to get our own AU/NZ servers, but we could realistically get switched to the US zone. That would seem a good compromise solution, and hopefully one that is easy to implement.
