How do I even respond to this... this Hawk loving mess?
>If it was based around the hawk you think they would allow noobs to pound experienced hawkers with a flak turret
Having trouble with Flak Turrets? Isnt that suprsing! If an anti-air turret is killing you when airborn, have you considered that instead of the game not being focussed enough on said airborn vehicle, but that you might actually have to use a slightly different tactic to remove them? Revalaton! Unless you are making a beeline straight for a turret these 'noobs' would have trouble hitting you anyway; I suspect you are being killed by automated turrets.
>Noobs being rewarded for spending the full game in home base hiding behind over powered turrets and scoring well becuase of it.
It is called defending a base. If these 'noobs' did not defend the base then there would be no base left. Considering you are clearly a Hawk abuser I find it highly hypocritcal of you to refer to the turrets as 'overpowered'. They dont even shoot infantry unless being operated by a player.
>Decreasing clusters, stealth and shield was to stop noobs getting totally pounded
It was because Cluster Bombs were ridiculously overpowered, whilst shield and stealth let the Hawk just fly right into the middle of a base and obliterate anything around it. The Cluster Bomb in particular HAD to be nerfed, there is no 2 ways about it.
>In Warhawk the Hawk was Top killer and if you wanted to be a top scorer/player in game you Learnt to fly
Never played it, but I cant see how 1 thing being completely centric to the gameplay - overpowered - is a good thing.
You are aso implying this is not the case in Starhawk.
>The clue is in the name
Yeah, because having 'Hawk' in the title is CLEARLY justification for the game to be completely 1 dimensional centred on the Hawk.
All you want is for the Hawk to be completely broken so you can merrily fly along and anihalate the enemy team without even trying. Learn to play the game rather than crying about the game not making your favorite toy ridiculously overpowered.

TBH i'd like to see the Shield & Stealth removed completly when the Hawk converts to Mech mode.....
They still have all there weapons availible why a shield & stealth as well?

bring back sniping tanks because it didnt take off to much damage and it made tankers more cautious about attacking a base.
and for those tankers who disagree or think i'm just a camper your wrong i love the ox tank and i just think the ....sniper to tank damage..... brings more balance to the game.

It did seem a little daft getting rid of it..
Now theres only the R/L to engage it at distance & thats hit or miss on hitting it..

LMAO Spino - Please explain why you think i abuse the hawk?
Flak / Lazer Turrets - on a individual bases they are not a issue, but when there are a bunch of noobs building 20+turrets in HM, the hawk can not be used as it was intended.Only in TDM should you start the game defending your KDR every other mode, you should attack the objective, not just defend from the start.
If any of you actively look for servers with high rankers or exp hawkers, you'll find games with much less balance issues , mainly becuase players look towards the objective at the start of the game not Home base defence.I realy enjoy the game when the whole team go for the objective ,Ground or Air, it works and this is why i'm having a go at "some" noobies.I'm sure when JD starting planning Starhawk he never thought you know it would be Awesome to build 20+ turrrets in HM and just sit there for the entire game.
I applaud the new players who have embraced the team game in SH,Although i've stated that Hawks were dominant in wh and should be in sh,that's not to say jeeps, tanks and bike shouldn't be used, offcourse they should and they should play a bit part of the team game.Air and ground need to work together to get the most out of starhawk.Full time defenders are the downfall of the game just now, they can make all the changes they want, but as long as people "choose" to defend full time, the game will not reach the heights it should.
In the end Starhawk will be all about GB, in house tournements and clan battles. For those of you who have not experienced GB/Clan battles this is what WH and Starhawk multiplayer games are all about, not Home Base defence or building the perfect HB. Objective based team play will prevail and it will stem from the hawks ability to Boss the game.

This is true in competitive matches, to be fair. I played a lot of GB clan matches in Warhawk and the team that controlled the aerial battles invariably won. There is still obviously a place for ground troops but the best teams will always rely on their pilots to protect the infantry and ground vehicles. I'm speaking as someone who spends most of my time on the ground, too.

What you mean the high rankers cant bomb the sh#t out of the enemy base or land for to long to Stomp , MG & Swarm missile everything..
So we know why there built....

I'm afraid all I find when playing with experienced hawkers is players who are One Trick Monkeys & have very low Troop Weapon % but high Air Weapons %....

Why should they be Dominant?
Why should they be allowed to beat up everything on the map with impunity?
This game already has a very small niche market why would you want to alienate/scare off new players by having an all conquering weapon which the Hawk is....
