Yeah, I agree.
When playing Dust I never really feel that anything's really happening. Beacause of the limited buildings, very few people build in the centre of the map and it just ends with people defending there own base and occasionally going on the offensive.
I think the developes should allow the host of the map to alter the limitation.

It depends on whether the 32 limit is a design decision or a budget limitation. If they can't go over 64 buildings on the map (32 per team) due to perfomance reasons, then it can't be increased. Although if that is the case some buildings will be cheaper to use than others, so maybe they could be limited with an LBP style thermometer instead.
Also I think if there's a limit to how many buildings can be built in the main base that would help a lot (e.g. max of 16). That would leave you at least 16 to use elsewhere. And really 16 should be enough for a good home base anyway:
1 garage
1 jetpack
1 hawk launch pad
1 tank garage
1 bike garage
1 shield
1 weapons bunker
1 sniper tower
And that still leaves you with 8 for walls, turrets and beam turrets.

I Agree With Limiting the base.
There is too much exessive defense in dust.
No motivation to push forward
I agree bas should be allowed 16-20(max) structures.
and by the time I start spawing other point near the enemy base I only drop a pod beacon, then building limit is reached. meaning I can't fortify the second abush base, usually leading to it's demish.
and hopefully with release well have 40+ structures I'm hoping for!

would be nice to have a build gauge onscreen all the time, instead of finding out as you try to build a jeep running off with their flag, as per usual
