I didn't buy Starhwak because the beta was disappointing for me but I would like to know what changes have been made since the beta was closed: weapon/vehicle balance, B&B costs, limitations to B&B in enemy base, control and configuration options, matchmaking, melee, etc...
I know it might be too soon to ask but how's the state of "base ravaging"?

Well the worst change for me has been the Beacons/Outposts' cost being doubled from 4 to 8! This is ridiculous because it was hard enough to keep a forward base alive when you could actually spawn there. Now, you're standing around for ages just gathering enough rift. It takes two seconds for a hawk or a tank to blow them up so what's the bloody point?
Tank depots cost 10 now! This is a little more understandable as tanks are super powerful.
I think rifle accuracy might have been improved, but I'm not certain.
I don't think any limitations to B&B in either base has been made, which is annoying because a cap in the HQ would also encourage some forward building.
AND BASE RAVAGING: It's not too soon to ask, because I've played half a dozen TDMs last night and nearly every one was like this. It's a bit depressing to be dropped in to a game you have absolutely no chance of winning. At one point, 3 tanks were roaming our base and blowing people up as soon as they spawn (invinciblity on spawning needed maybe?)

Nothings really changed LAILIEL..
The games a disapointment really !!!!
Nothings been addressed to change the dominance of the Hawks with there easy canned dodges once again those that prefere fighting on the ground will suffer......
Already we're seeing BASE RAPES & players with high KDR who have no thought of going for the flag in CTF there just there to treat every game like a Death match ..
Warhawk made you work for every rank/badge/medal & trophy this makes you work for nothing there is no real challange apart from being the best player in Team Death match & the Lone Wolf challange...
Your much better off out of it & £40 better off...

So little or none was changed: what a pity.
And to think that all of us on this thread have discussed about base ravaging on the beta forums for weeks
Its even worse!!!!
The sniper rifle is now a TANK KILLER weapon , how low have we sunk....

To be honest it doesn't look like we were listened to much during the beta. I mean how many threads were made made discussing the basecamping/baseraping problem? How many decent suggestions were made like capping the HQ building limit and creating capture points around the map. If they were good enough for Warhawk, then why not his?
I don't understand why we were asked to come and leave feedback really.

There were definitely a lot of useful suggestions/ideas on the beta forums; for instance we suggested to forbid B&B in enemy bases but it was not done: that small change alone would have at least limited base ravaging for sure.
I really feel sorry for you guys: you bought the game hoping LBI would have fixed things as they promised, and you got little or nothing.
At this point I can only suggest you all to consider Dust 514: vehicles will be present as well, RTS gameplay (built you defences, tactical structures), no fixed spawns, maps Km wide, 24 vs. 24 online (that will probably grow to 64 vs. 64), horde mode, orbital bombardments (campers be warned) , and it will be free to play.
