I am part of a booming clan www.clangrim.com
right plug out of the way lol.
A few of the guys in the clan ( including the clan leader) have recently bought starhawk together.
now could someone please tell me how we go about having clan battles and such.
Although were completely new to starhawk our first impressions are incredible and its something we would love to get more involved with as our clan is currently 3rd in the top100 clans. Our members list is pretty large.
What sort of scale are the clan battles and is there enough people who play this clan system to make it a worthwhile time investment with regards to practice schedules and scrims etc as well as expanding our website and recruitment for a starhawk division.
Any help would be hugely appreciated ,
thank you

I'm not personally in MWHS but have many friends in there which is why i mention them, I have never set up a clan match before on SH so hopefully someone else will post on this thread on how to do so!
Good luck on getting it all sorted and enjoy your SH ![]()

setting up clan matches is easy once you have done it once.
1. go into multiplayer
2. accross to create game.
first pop up will ask which map to play on, what game type and what vehicle loadout.
MAPS .the only map where hawks have to be selected ie air superioroty, classic or classic beta
game types is in the SPACE map
TDM = team deathmatch (your side verses the other side , highest points win.
CTF = capture the flag (you against them, attempt to capture enemy flag while protecting your own)
DOGFIGHT =Hawks only, no landing, game starts in a hawk in the air, every player for himself.
highest kills wins the match.
once you have choosen your map
press right and up, to go to server options/
first give your server a name (it defaults to your username.
then scroll thrugh options
TIMELIMIT
SCORELIMIT
FRIENDLY FIRE MODE.
set these as needed then
to set a clan practice match with only your clan members, split onto each side, you need to set the following options
password. keeps other players out.
BALANCE TEAMS ON
SPLIT TEAMS ON
ALLOW SWTCH SIDES WILL BE GREYED OUT.
MIN AND MAX PLAYERS. suggest setting mimimum players to the total number of players joining so say you have 6 players, set mimimum to 6 , then the game will not start until all the players have joined the game.
then press right to go to the right hand menU go to bottom option START GAME and press X.
when you have launched into the map press START. on the right of the screen your friends will appear in your list. move curser over the friend and press X first option is to invite to game, select this and dont forget to tell them the password.
for clan matches, almost everything is the same except some server options.
match say is your clan of 5 against another clan of 5.
MIN PLAYERS 10
SPLIT TEAMS OFF
BALANCE TEAMS OFF.
i think you have to add the other clan leader to your friends list, send him an invite then he can invite his members.
HOST MIGRATION - this is used for normal games , anyone playing, if its ON then should you choose to stop playing, press start select quit game at the bottom.
the game will then migrate to another player to host so you dont have to leave your PS3 on all the time.
there is another way of doing this from your home world by going into your home world then invite your friends same way as in game, once they are in your homeworld , start. go back to your friends list and invite to party.
once they have accepted, then start, go to create game, and follow above advise, then click start game, and everyone in your party will be launched into your game.
once you are familiar with the single map game, you can then add other maps to the same game, and other loadouts and game types.
let me know if this is helpfull, and by all means add me as a friend on PSN.
