Ok, this is driving me mad (mainly because I haven't got one) but what are the coloured shapes behind the level numbers? There doesn't seem to be any logic to who's got them and who hasn't...

It's a skillscore ranking, go into the Leaderboard and you'll see (as long as you have enough Starhawk friends to give a good range!) 

It's blue star best, then silver star (me ), gold diamond, silver circle, brown square, then nothing.

God knows what skill score is based on.
I see this sort of thing all too often (since I first noticed it, I check after most matches)
Match victory, 43/6 k/d - skill falls
Match victory, 13/8 k/d - skill rises
Match loss, 8/13 kd - skill plumets
To the point I dropped 2000 positions on the world leader board after a 10 win streak... I mean, what the hell?

I can see now why I don't have one. Because I'm rubbish at it. My KDR is 0.2 (200/800)! Bizzarely my skill score is 2700 ish and the person at the top of the leader board has 4300. The difference doesn't seem to reflect the real difference.

Also, there's somebody in the clan I'm in who has a skillscore of 3000 but, according to the profile, has never played the game i.e. 0 minutes, 0 kills, 0 deaths. There's obviously a few bugs to sort out!

all this shows the need for detailed info on the game which we don't have - my clan meets Wednesday nights (join my clan), it's taken three sessions to master the party system, which many don't even know is there it's so hidden. If I could buy one of those game guides, I would.

I always assumed skillscore was based on XP per minute, but perhaps there is more to it. One of our clan is a monster in a hawk but does little else that dogfight games, he's ranked in the top 20 worldwide. Get him on the ground through and he's not sure what to do!

Does'nt that say something about the game though!!?

It does'nt challenge you enough if you can just fly or just fight on foot & reach the top level 50?

It does'nt seem to ask you to do anything bar play how you want , so as in this players case he does'nt have to touch ground if he does'nt want to?

i have a blue star my skill is at 3400 last time 900 on the leaderboard around their 21 hours of playing this game and love it but cant play it for to long  i checked but it hink you get the blue star if you on the leaderboard most of my clans that are around my skillm score have all the blue star the rest dont

i have had it and lost it before also but know i got it i plan to never lose it again haaaaa

i think its based on xp per games you play if you have a really bad few games and do nopthing for the team and win than you go down a lot in skill points

on a postive note i was thinking of makeing a server with friens and good players with some rules to what you can and cant do!!!
