Well I have left ideas on how to make the game more balanced along with many other people. My point is if someone wants to come on the forums and air out some of their frustration then just let them. Chances are tomorrow they'll play Starhawk and form a different opinion but if their frustrations are met with criticism they might just go ah screw this game and that ain't helping anyone.

And how were the tanks in Warhawk any different?
The tanks spawned, you didnt need to save up 10 points of rift to build them, and you could then happily trundle into the enemy base and one shot kill everything, even the pesky hawk that hovered about trying to kill you with its machine guns.
Because in warhawk you always had buildings to take cover in, you could always spawn in 2 or 3 different places and their was pathways leading up to the bases that could easily be protected by landmines.
Outposts cost too much to build at the minute and the enemy can take them down so easily leaving your team with one area to spawn. Giving the available rift after a few buildings get taken down and rebuilt your team is low on rift to do any more building especially when tanks and hawks take down your buildings just as fast as you put them up. Its why I suggested each base having a supply bunker and garage already build that are invincible. At least that would give overrun teams some sort of fighting chance.

You guys forget the fact that tanks are a lot more vunerable in SH than in WH. One drop pod=death, two/three RPG hits=dead plus RPG's are a lot easier to get a hold of, 7 sniper shots=dead, 5/6 grenades=dead
Yep. In WH I could quite easily survive entire rounds in a tank wheras in SH a couple of hits and its on the ropes. It also isn't as manoeuvrable as the tanks in WH and unless I'm mistaken, quite a bit slower which also makes it vulnerable.

I had similar issues with tanks just spawn camping last night. I definitely think the tanks (and hawks) are to cheap. Thing is though I find that it isnt always so one sided and that was the first match I played which spawn camping was happening.

I think the hawks are less cheap than in WH because they can't hover, TOW you and fly off which used to be a regular occurance.
Yes, they can land and stomp you, but a lot of people don't seem to realise that when it transforms to a Mech, the pilot is exposed and can be quite easily shot and killed. Most people just aim for the hulking piece of metal.

Sadly the only true solution for spawn-camping & base-raping is to eliminate fixed spawn areas, which of course is not feasible for Starhawk since maps are designed around fixed spawn areas.
Section 8 has this free-spawn system and, as far as I am told, it's a funny game so there's no reason to doubt this solution would have worked for Starhawk as well.
