I am guessing the answer to my question may well be that it works best when working as a team - which I do agree with
but should the force field turret (that creates the field) be outside the bubble? to at least give some chance of it being taken out?
I have just played a game where it was a dead end, walls, 12 or so turretts, beams and a force field and abosultely no way of getting in to take the shield down, or do anything - even with a team you are taken out in seconds - any thoughts?

Jetpack + Rocket Launcher solves all.
By the way, Beam turrets will never fire at you whilst you're on the ground (unless human-controlled), and they take a fair while to lock on to you, so with a jetpack you can cover a lot of ground, land when turrets lock on, take to the skies again... you will never be killed by beam turrets if you follow that.
As for when you're in the base, if you're fully loaded up on rockets and grenades and know how to survive with a jetpack, piece of cake.

sometimes they are so fortified that you'd prob need mics and have 2 or 3 ppl fly in at the same time to share the damage between you all, if you all got rockets you should take the shield out.

They should allow Sniper bullets to penetrate the force bubble.

No they shouldn't ....... Otherwise it wouldn't be a very effective force shield. The whole point of the shield is so people cannot destroy the base from a distance, forcing people to get up close and personal. What you are suggesting total defeats that point.

I dont see why they cant make it so walk cant fly in to the bubble? perhaps if in mech mode they can enter but if theyre flying they cant touch it?
Hardly gives any advantage for hawks by being able to fly through freely but I dunno, maybe when they introduce bombs things will get messy when it might be needed. Too early to tell.
