Thats just poor gamesmanship from the guy who set the server up

I love hunting tanks on Dust of couse its easier with Combat Intel......

They think there so good on the baserape till they meet 3 mines repeatedly lol....

The mine attack can backfire massively though, even when it's performed right. A couple if times I've passed a tank/jeep with 3 mines and only 2 have deployed! Then of course there's the issue of players hopping out of their vehicles, causing none of the mines to deploy lol.

Theres is that..

I've had a sidewinder swing to the otherside of me at the last moment making the mine activate but not jump because it was on the wrong side

I died lol.....

Don't the mines explode when you get shot, destroying your own aircraft?

Yeah it's tricky if you're getting shot at, especially by beam turrets on tanks because the slightest impact sets the mines off.
