Hi i have a friend who just bought a wild cats headset so since i have the one that came with warhawk (But barely used) we thought it would be good to get online with them .But however his is fine but mine repeats everything i say back to me and the screen flashes up his name and the speaker symbol .How can i stop this interference as its majorly annoying.?

Do you mean you are trying to use two headsets on one PS3? You're post is a little unclear on the actual detail

No sorry im in my house with my headset and he is in his with his headset , but when i talk on mine a second later his name comes up on right hand of my  screen like normal when somebody else talks on warhark so you know whos speaking but i get my voice on my ear piece repeating what i just said like an echo but i can still hear him when he talks and at his end it all works fine

I'd make sure you've got the XMB volume at 3, then ideally use push to talk. If not, you'll have to set up ingame to make sure your sensitivity isn't too high, the 30-40% mark. I get no echo with mine at all.

No idea why your mates name is coming up, could be his open mic settings, the madcatz headsets are notoriously bad. As sharmbo has said, bluetooth mics seem to be causing a few problems after the 1.4 update for the game. Mine still seems to be working perfectly however, which is no consolation if you can't get yours working!

try turning down the volumn on the earpiece, that worked for me

ive noticed this a few times i think the problem might be at your freinds end was he using the open mic it ma be the mic picking up your voice from his tv and then sending it back to you through his mic hence is mic comming up on the screen. he may need to lower his settings.
