My multiplayer wil not work!!!

everytime i click on multiplayer the options for multiplayer are blank.  Even in the campaign when i pause it the screen is blank can anyone honestly help me.  I called sony and it is still not working is anyone else having this problem?

I think there working out a patch for this to be released next week. Be patient and stand by.
