Honestly, why not spawn with the pistol, its not doing any good scattered around the map. It pretty much matches the kinetic rifle and would be a heplful sidearm. Either that or have an option to spawn with it instead of the rifle. Seriously people.

Agreed. When you find a weapon around the map, you're supposed to think "great, this will be useful". But the pistol is just a waste of time when the rifle is better and more likely to scare enemies away.

Try shooting at the head, you will be suprised. At least in the singleplayer but I think it acts the same way in multiplayer.

It certainly packs a punch even with a body shot, but you gotta make them 6 shots count.

Yeah, they should just put the pistol in the supply depot.....I don't see the point of it being a special weapon found in the wilds

Thouroughly agree. The pistol is a waste of time. I have not used once in MP. If you have the option to use the KR or the Revolver, which would you choose. The KR ofcourse. An idea came up for an edit to the pistol to make it more useful. They could change it so the reticule is just a small dot on the screen and it is a one shot kill. Could make way for some seriously cool pistol vids.

Great idea Hogezz! That way it would make searching for the pistol worthwhile.
