So Warhawk was ruined by overpowered Hawks.

Starhawk Beta seemed to fix this by allowing ground troops to lock on to Hawks and destroy them fi the pilot dared to take on ground troops as opposed to what he was meant to do (fight other hawks).

Later in the Beta Lightbox decided that with a simple wiggle of the thumb sticks, a pilot should be allowed to evade EVERY SINGLE ROCKET in a rocket launcher.

Has it stayed like this meaning Hawks are overpowered? Or is the game fixed?

Would love to buy it. . .but if it's like my last TDM on the Beta (the enemy teams BASE raping us with their hawks and evading unlimited missiles) then I simply can't buy it.

to be brief..... Yes, hawks will still be the dominant vehicle in the game but they have been significantly weakened compared to warhawk.

There are beam turrets, flak turrets, rpgs and othe hawks to now content with but you are still going to get killed by hawks. The skillscore system has alos been fixed so you should be put in servers that have players at a similar skill level. There are also loadout options for servers with no hawks... 

if that doesn't please you you could always learn to fly

Get yourself in a bunker grab a rocket launcher and just keep firing until you take those mothers down. I tend to target Hawks that are in the middle of a dogfight so they don't get much chance to try and evade.

If your not happy about overpowered Hawks!!!!

I'm sure Dylan said something about a "ground pounder" loadout in one of the recent video releases the ground pounder being that there are no Hawks just ground vehicles....

Its not a perfect solution about overpowered Hawks but it does give you the option to play in games without them....

Appreciate the no hawks bit but the mechs and hawks will make the game - I just don't want them easily abused via a simple wiggle to evade rockets as they blow up your bunker an kill everyone as they spawn
