Just played in my umpteenth game of one team with +100 kills and the other team with less than a quarter of that, getting Ox camped and cluster bombed repeatedly, didn't spend more than 20 seconds alive each time. I'm no rage quitter but even I found my limit today.

It's pathetic, there's just simply no excuse for it. It should not happen. Before anybody says it, I don't care if it's supposedly "never happened to you."

No I totally agree, was so looking forward to this game but even in the Beta the limitations of the B&B system were obvious - I went back to Warhawk, far better game and dedicated servers..

If I remember rightly though (correct me if I'm wrong because I didnt play an awful lot of Warhawk) I beleive spawn camping happened in that game too, it was nowhere near as bad though but Starhawk has only just come out so theres bound to be a few issues like this. Hopefully these issues and the balancing issues will be addressed in the next patch.

I did play A LOT of Warhawk and yes, spawn camping/base raping happened a lot, IF you played with randoms.

Play with a bunch of people you know, whether that be a clan, people from the forums, etc, it was a different game.

Starhawk is the same, no better, maybe a tiny bit worse, but certainly not the big deal people are making it out to be.

Do we really need 27 threads on base raping?

(27 may be an exaggeration, but then so are the complaints of base raping. )

I've found its normally the high rankers that are doing the spawn camping/baseraping .....

As theres no challenge in this game for them....

You cant have a game that punishes people if they are not playing with friends or people they know, thats just stupid.

Only 1 or 2 of my friends list picked this game up so because of that I should have to get spawn camped over and over again and be ok with it?? No thanks.

totally agree, as much as people love Warhawk, this is a different game. They should allow for new people to the game to be on level par at least a little and not have such a steep learning curve or something.

You don't need to know people to talk to them. Nor do they even have to be on your friends list. However being a team player will often get you more folks adding you as a friend.

For team work a simple mic and a co operative team member or two will usually get the job done.

Once 3 or more are working together, it doesn't take long before the balance is tipped in your favor. Try it sometime.
