Just saw this I'll probably be preordering to get the skins, althouht from what ive seen on facebook theres some awesome in game unlockable outfits

Ive also heard its a similiar system to WH where you change your head,torso,legs etc to mae an outfit

Was more interested in the map(s) which will probably cost you £8-£10 (since it mentions two DLC packs included).

Question is will it be available in the UK considering that's on the US blog.

We already missed out on the "rare" rift hunter DLC so wouldn't be surprised if we were excluded from this as well.

Not a bit pleased it contains downloadable content that will most likely be premium content for those who don't purchase the limited edition. Also displeased that the limited edition is limited to pre-orders at Gamestop since not everybody has a Gamestop near them. Additional downloadable content for users who purchase the Limited Edition is even less pleasing. Perhaps it's just me but considering the extortionate prices some Limited Editions are as they're packed in with unnecessary **** such as plastic figures to boost the prices, the exclusive deals with a single retailer and the limited stock (or alternatively limited time of availability), downloadable content that is exclusive to limited editions is a practice I despise as much as pre-order content that varies by retailer. For users that don't purchase the game at release, miss the period of availability or simply don't have access to the specific retailer yet want all of the in-game content these simply add on an additional fee to the cost of the new game. Had this been available to everyone with an additional cost of €5 or a realistic price increase I would not have as much as a problem but if the limited edition is not available in my vicinity this will have just cost me the purchase. If it was only alternate skins, fair enough, it's not significant but the exclusive maps is just something I find highly irritating, as hyperbolic as that may be.

Plus, this stuff is for US - and it looks awesome... I can pretty much garuantee the UK or Europe in general wont get half as much :/
Like those knifes on Warhawk the Americans got to compete for then about 2 months later EU got a chance...but US were allowed in again

Completely agree with everything you say here.

The games industry dresses these offers up to make it look like the consumer is getting added value but it's just a sly way of convincing gamers to spend more and more of their hard earned dough on pricier versions of the game and all these horrible DLC micro-transactions.

I miss the days when everyone paid one price up front and received the same product for their money.

I find it quite unpalatable that so many games have DLC available to buy from the first day of release. From the moment you put your brand new disc into your PS3 you're shown all this lovely content that the developer decided not to include with the core game and you find yourself dropping another fiver on it when you've already spunked £40 on buying the game in the first place.

Thankfully I now have a friend who works as a buyer for a major retailer and he gets me pretty much any game I want for free.

I feel sorry for all you suckers emptying your wallets to feed your gaming habit.

Theres nothing yet about Starhawk on the Gamestop.co.uk site yet.....

Its the same old story the EU will get shafted again while those in the U.S. seem to get the best of it......

i agree .Also have u ever noticed sometimes u pay for additional content that downloads within seconds? if this happens its allready on the disc you just pay 2 unlock it .stinks i think this will b the case with starhawk. We can moan but we will buy anyway. UFC3 has limited edition version but all the extra content in ps store now and its free ,dont ***** out till a week on friday neither.getting bored of starhawk beta now been playing since beginning of december sumfing new b nice.
