If its anything like Prototype 2 it was £10 more expensive on Playstation Store which I think is a bit stupid considering it would be cheaper for Sony to sell it on PSN as there's no costs for the production of the case or disk etc.

I dont think you need to worry about that, PS3 is pretty robust. I dont think it would be reading off the blu-ray disk all the time while you're playing anyway. I imagine it'll only be whilst loading a new map or cut scene etc.

look at this: -----------------------> YOUR BANK ACCOUNT with and without PSN Version
I am NOT GOING TO BUY the blu-ray version of this. I am certain I am not alone. It makes no sense to load this up via blu-ray

Interestingly Warhawk was released first ( by 2 days ) on the Playstation Store, to great fanfare if I recall, and was cheaper than the Blu-ray version ( £19.99 verses £39.99, though the Blu-ray came with the bluetooth headset, and the PSN version was only playable on the purchasing account ).
I had wondered where it had gotten to, though honestly i'm not that bothered as it's simply not as good as Warhawk, the learning curve is too steep to make it fun, and casual gamers will have a much harder time of keeping up with those playing more frequently. The other big problem is that the new build and battle features actually detract from following gameplay, and do not make each game different as suggested. As shown in the beta, once the optimal strategy is worked out for a map, everyone uses it from then onwards.
I'd personally be happy if they'd just patched some of the remaining bugs in Warhawk, kept updating the server map rotations, and maybe launched some more DLC / map packs, I suppose there is less money in that though, or maybe i'm just too cynical for my own good !
