Dante, the sad thing, is I think your right.![]()
However, there is still a chance that Lightbox and Sony will consider the above suggestions.

I agree with most of what your saying. I love online demo's. However the dev's need their cut of the used game market. I think if after a year or two, if they made the online pass free that would help rake in some dlc money. But really the fans are great but in the end the devs need their pay. One other thing about the "console war". PS3 is about to overtake console sales, I believe on all platforms worldwide. Depending on how you look at it, PS3 is fine. Warhawk was a worldwide thing and so will Starhawk. So I think there will be a substantial community regardless.

See Dogmatis agrees with us Lightbox and Sony. you gotta do it.
Many of us want custom button mapings. We'd like to choose what each button does and not be limited to what the devs decide the controls should be. This includes analog stick. Directions and buttons( up ,down, left , etc., r3 and L3.) If you want this too say so and spread the thread. TY ![]()

i think if the game has the playability factor that warhawk had then the warhawk community worldwide will keep the popularity of the game very high, as they did with its predecessor. i miean come on guys, how many games can you honestly say are still drawing players in after almost 4 years?? not many lol they usually end up dying on their knees within a matter of months
also, i think if the learning curve in starhawk is as near vertical as in warhawk, then a 7 day trial wouldn't be long enough imo, it took me over a year to be able to hold mt own in the air and ingame in general, but if i'd been given 7 days and asked at the end of that week if i wanted to continue playing, i aint so sure i would have done it.... i have disc version of wh with all dlc and because i had bought it outright, i wanted to persevere and get my moneys worth outta it lol ![]()

stahawk is so easy to pick up and play. 1 day is enough to get comfortable. but to master is a different story.
This game needs a permanent muliplayer demo like warhawk. Or everyone is going to buy Call Of Dooky MW2.1

You hit the nail right on the head. The whole online pass thing actually screws me as a day one buyer as you guys, SOE are shrinking my player base. Maybe they should look at the biggest online games of 2011, Gears and MW3 and a little further back to Halo: Reach and ask themselves how those games were so successful yet no online pass?
Resistance 3 and Uncharted 3 both had my favorite multiplayer of year and I did NOT buy them second hand yet the beta's had far more players than the retail.
