Starhawk stability patch ineffective

I downloaded the stability patch before playing Starhawk today. I played multiplayer for about three hours and experienced three loss of connections and two game crashes. What is going on? In the past I could play Warhawk for hours, or until my eyes fell out. I guess it's important to note that I was playing on Warhawks official servers. Could the lack of official servers in Starhawk be the reason for the instability?
