As it stands, nobody knows this game exists! I don't know anyone who knows about this game and a lot of people are excited about Max Payne. Sometimes i wonder how Warhawk developed such a large following. It was still possible to get mediocre games 5 years after its release! The barrage of mediocre reviews, most of them focusing on the single player (the 5 hour campaign which really was never the point) certainly don't help. The general view is that the multiplayer for this game does live up to its predecessor at the least. The screenshots look spectaular! As much as i like Warhawk, the Warhawk community should stop whinging about trivial issues flooding all the message boards and support this game.

I bought it from Asda's yesterday but they had only recieved 3 copies in. I also had taken a look at Sainsburys who had recieved NO copies in. My local Indie shop also had its copies delayed and was hopefully expecting some in today Saturday. It seems like this game is in short supply so no wonder not many people have it.

Yes it is annoying there being so many beam/flak turrets...

BUT.....

If the Hawks/Mechs were'nt so damn powerful we would'nt need them!!!

The canned dodges have killed the game IMO as its to easy for Hawks to evade ground troops missiles.

At least with beam turrets we dont see ground folk fleeing the server when another team has total air superiority. The turrets give them a chance to fight back, sure they bunker down and hide in the force field with turrets but the pilots seem to want them to come out stand around and get base raped.

I'm not sure Starhawk would even appeal to the average gamer. Most people picking up this game are already Warhawk fans. I know loads of people who don't ''get'' BF3''. Couldn't imagine the same crowd enjoying Starhawk.

I bet there is an ad on TV, on some random channel in the middle of the night.

I'd agree with the short supply idea, yesterday on release no supermarkets had it on the shelves round here. I went into my local Game & Gamestation stores this morning to pick this up, both had only 1 copy delivered. Somethings not right there....

My local Blockbuster has told me they arent receiving any copies at all.  It's an incredible game in which people are missing out on.
