I only know what I'm doing because I've watched every Starhawk video leading to the public beta and read every bit of info, half the people I've played with over the last few days have NO CLUE what's going on.
I'm building little bases closer to the enemy base for people to spawn at, once they finally figure out they can spawn there, they drop down, run to the garage and start running through the wire mesh outline and wondering why there's no car there, they then turn around and start RUNNING towards the enemy base (which will still take them a while).
I'll just keep it short and say:
-Hardly anybody knows you can spawn in other places other than your original base.
-It seems that nobody knows how to work garages/jetpack dispensers .
-People are finding it hard to understand that you can go THROUGH an upgraded wall, everybody tries to squeeze their way around it.
I know it's not a demo, but people will be basing their opinion of the game on this, and a lot of people are going to find it really slow paced, dull and repetetive because they don't understand how things work.

It's a bit late in coming but they've put a training video on their site.
Beginners should take a look.

Lol, this game is not "rocket science". I'd never saw the tutorial when I'd first started and it only took me about 3-5 matches to actually get a firm grasp of playing the game. Eight to twelve matches later, I'm fluent with the pace of the game and understand how everything works. So if some noob can't learn and adjust accordingly to this game after a few tries and concludes that this game sucks (which it doesn't). Than obviously this game is clearly not for them and they should just stick to their 1st person shooters.

Ahem, you mean shooters with less tactical approach to gameplay because I have played games similiar to Starhawk on PC which are FPS or mix of FPS and TPS. Like Empires mod for HL2 and Savage.

when the game comes out I'm sure single player will be a great tutorial.
Yeah besides if you see some one doing something wrong or need help, just give them a quick hint on how to spawn a vehicle or how to transform the mech. then problem will solve itself.
perhaps a loyal fan as yourself can make a fan made youtube tutorial?
