second time, i got kicked from a game cause i was the only one on the team doing any damage, it was a zones game, opposite team to the host, i was winning it, the other lads on my team (4 players vs 4 players) were low ranks, and having some bad luck!! i was getting loads of kills and zones caps, so the tw@ host decided to kick me to guarantee his win!! not cool!! anyone else come across this?

Hey batchef!
It's a tough one this. They did temporarily remove the host-kick feature, but now it's back. Here's why -
Whilst the feature can be used by unscrupulous hosts who want you out of their game because you're kicking too much butt, the alternative (not enabling hosts to kick players out of the game) is far worse. In a scenario where a player is excessively team killing, bad building or even destroying bases within a game, this feature enables the host to get rid of them and allow the rest of the players in the game to enjoy the experience.
I host a lot of games myself and this feature is a god-send. At the end of the day, I don't want to have to end an entire game because of one player's malice - if I can just kick that one player and allow the game to continue, that's a better scenario for everyone.
One more thing. When someone hosts a game they're investing their own time, effort and bandwidth to allow you to play, and it takes a great deal of time to get a good game going. My opinion on this has always been "if you're using my bandwidth, you play by my rules".
Therefore, the best way of avoiding this problem is to set up your own game, with your own rules, or play with friends who you trust.
Finally, if you do get kicked for no reason - send the host a message and ask why he chose to kick you, it may be a mistake!
Much love,
MB
