I just cant play this game anymore, i loved it to start with, it was new and it supposedly had warhawk pedigree in it, so obviously i bought it day it came out and loved this new game, after all the faulty tower esqe issues and just the general gameplay ive came to conclusion that this game isnt for me, which is a shame because i spent the best part of two years waiting from the first utters of starhawk right though to beta and release.

This has nothing to do with balance issues, even if this game for perfectly balanced Id still feel the same, its had 100 hours of my time and even spending another hour playing fills me with dread, its getting traded in for a sony dvd remote and ill probably still have to part with money. 

IMO this game has failed, most warhawk vets will defend it publicly but i think deep down most will agree that this game is fundamentally flawed, the idea was good but the implementation has ruined it. And tbh i dont think there is one things thats wrong with it, i cant put a finger on what it is I just hate this game now and how it plays, its defo no MP and its not an SP, its a mixed bag of chaos and ideas.

On a lighter note, Ive had some cracking games of warhawk recently, plus more people playing, I just cant get tired of a great game of hawk. 5 years on and still loving it, roll on the next few years.

I unfortunately have to agree with OP on this. There is something that just doesn't work. without the balance issues this game just isn't anywhere near as much fun as Warhawk. Infact if people are going back to that, I will follow and see you on there this weekend.

To be honest I played the game for a week and left until it got patched and now I never see me going back to it again. I ain't gonna trade it in because the fact that all map packs are free is something most devs won't do so I'll keep it in support of that.

Warhawk was definitely a better game. This just felt like a dumbed down game in favor of a build system that didn't work properly and created huge balancing issues. Well lets hope future patches will add some cool stuff. Wouldn't the game be worth holding onto just in case?

Call me a yes man, or a dumbed down noob if you will but I *****ing love Starhawk, and have 80 Clan members mainly Blue Rift Stars, who agree Lol. Loved it from day one still love it now, and I will NOT be going back to WARHAWK, jesus nothing could make me more depressed than to have to play that game again even for another few minutes, I achieved everything I wanted to in Warhawk, and Starhawk will hold my attenion and love now for many more years to come, and that is me being honest and coming from the heart. 

Everyone wants to suck Warhawk's ***** like it was the best thing since sliced bread, but really it is so old and dated now, its only plus is its fast placed exciting gameplay, everything else, glitches, lag, boring maps, over and over again, clan stacked servers, no one spawning just to get 50 point bonus etc, it really does bore me to death, and the graphics suck compared to Starhawk. And baserapes are much worse in Warhawk, that is a fact.

Wish all you Blues would just disapear into the hard servers but we see very few of them on the server lists..

agree with the op too. had a discussion like this couple of days ago. 

everytime i went back onto starhawk, i would deploy to get killed straight away pretty much would be like that for the first 5 mins then i would just switch it off. was wasting my time.

i enjoy the whole aspect of the game. big maps. build your own base etc.  but i was off the game withing like 5 mins.

so i dont have this hassle now as im out too.

traded in for spec ops!
