I think that starhawk would be better if it was possible to upgrade every building in the game instade of only 

be possible to upgrade that wall.

I agree.

 

I think it would add a new depth to the game if it were possible to upgrade buildings to increase their offensive and defensive stats and perhaps their asthetics (looks).

 

However, this is a large section to add and would need a lot of thought and, I guess, programming.
