Mike has so missed the point of my post and even hightlighted totally irrelavent parts of it in his quote.... I would have highlighted "the most decent bloke in the world" which I put at the start and the end of my post to emphasise that.

Please tell me that others read it how I intended it to read which was to help Mike realise how people may have taken a certain perception of things, in that people will react at the person  by his side (metaphorically speaking), irrespective of what kind of guy Mike is, but Mike was kind of seen to bring that person to the party.

If not and I have typed something out of order then let me know and I will happily apologise, but only because my thread was misread, not what I was intending to say, even if it was in a slightly, if somewhat dark, humourous way.

Now I remember why I don't come to this forum very often anymore, thank you very much for your kind words Crumpet man. Stakka post was an ANALOGY and that was how I read it, your response was just as rude as some of the posts directed at you. I don't actually ever remember writing anything directed at you I was just agreeing with Srubman, in relation to all the praise MJW had been getting in his retirement thread. I was a little surprise to hear you so happy to receive a complement from a racist, hence my comment. Appologies if I didn't write enough for you but to be honist I'm busy and don't have the time to get into an argument with you.

At the end of the day anything I say will no doubt fall on deaf ears anyway as you you guys seem to see is the clan tag and you have made your mind up about me.
