No I think you can. It would be pretty stupid if you weren't able. I don't have an irish credit card anymore. And it wont let me add my australian card because the PSN account is still fixed on Ireland. That would mean I can't use the PS store. My friends were able to change there xbox account so there must be a way to change your PSN.
I can confirm that it is not currently possible to change the country of residence on your SEN account. If you are now living in Australia with an Australian bank card then you will need to create a new SEN account with your new Australian address.

wow what a precise and genious answer from a moderator. tbh i wasn't expecting less than this. As CUSTOMERS WE PAY MONEY to have things working properly, not to have such a degrading answer. I just have to go on Account Settings and the answer is there. WE WANT TO KNOW WHY !!!! AND we want it to be fixed!
I moved from France to Denmark 3 years ago and i have the same problem. I cant use my Danish Visa card on my French account in Denmark. I cant use some voucher codes in games bought in Denmark on my French account, i cant buy anything, i cant have PS+ if i dont ask family and friends in France to buy me PSN cards. I'm tired of this seriously. You will tell me create another account on PS3, what about the freaking VITA ? no multi account, nothing! I'm looking forward to you answering this question.
Now all you have to do is to ask a responsible SONY person to bring his ass here and explain what's wrong with this. We have all head the same BS with PSN Cards it was not possible to make in Europe they are not coming and suddenly it happened.
Sony is losing so much money and they are near bankrupty because they are losing too many customers because of misinformation. You dont wanna lose a customer like me because i have been dealing with Sony and buying Sony products (TVs MP3s PlayStations, phones, headphones.......) since 80's.
Moderator, do your job correct by providing the most precise answer possible and WHY, or step down and let someone else handle this correctly, and i'll LOVE to do that cause i care about the customers because i am one of them.
