I had hoped that the update would have fixed the problem as well, no luck though.  NeoMagus did you have files saved for those games before you had the error?  I think it only affects all trophy games that you had saves for prior to changing details on your acct (mainly password, from what I have found on various sites).

 

I have yet to hear anything from Sony on this problem.  Do the technical people actually read these forums?  I can't believe that they haven't even posted something to at least acknowledge that they are working on this.  Like I have said before do a google search on error 80022d11 and you will see how widespread this problem is.  I think that we should make everyone change their passwords and then see Sony take note when millions of people are affected!

I also couldn't play my GTA 4 file as it said it had been created by another user and had to create a new one.  I did and saved it as soon as I could.  I then quit the game and loaded the 'new' save that I had created, it loaded fine and said that trophies are available.  I never played it thought to see what would happen.  I can see the system having a meltdown if I try and get a trophy I already have, luckily I dont have many in it yet though (just loads in other games!).

i've got Burnout on my hard drive, and despite deleting the save data/files and downloading/install the game again - still the same error!

You should DEFINITELY watch two documentaries; "Zeitgeist" and "Zeitgeist:Addendum". You can download them legally from any torrent website. Or watrch them for free at www.zeitgeistmovie.com

Come on guys! Swearing and aggression isn't the way to sort this. Why not just e-mail them, be patient, wait for a reply. Or call customer support, if they can't help ask for a supervisor. Work your way up but stay calm and the problem will get sorted unless there is a very good reason for them not to fix it. (ie: Its impossible or it makes accounts vulnerable etc.)

I can totally understand people wanting to swear, when my 12 year old daughter is near to tears because her Little Big Planet file keeps saying that she didnt make it and that she cant get any trophies then that makes me want to swear.  Also, if your previous games saves which all worked fine and you were collecting trophies, now dont work then I can understand that you would want to swear.  All I did was change my password, nothing else, so why does it now think that I'm a different user, that makes me want to swear!  I wont as this isn't the place for that.  This is just a forum which is an official Sony one, so hopefully someone will eventually start to take some notice of us.

 

Please everyone I know how frustrating this is, but we have to try and be patient and hopefully a fix will be issued shortly.  Keep posting on this forum though to raise the profile and keep it top of the technical help topic thread.
