I am having a recurring issue with ABC's iView on my PS3. The first episode I watch always works perfectly. However, on the second, third of fourth episode I get the following error:
"Your browser is out of memory and has been replaced with a white screen".
Does anybody else have this issue? Are there are fixes?
PS. My Playstation is up to date and works correctly.

I've never had that problem before but I probably wouldn't use iview to watch more than one program at a stretch anyway. You could try clearing the browser cache. Press △ then go to Tools then to Delete Cache.

Our children watch children's programs on iview which are relatively short in length - 5 minutes to 30 minutes each show, so in an hour of TV they easily watch 4 or 5 small shows.
We have this "out of memory" problem every time we use iview. which requires exiting iview, and restarting. It normally occurs after you have watched a couple of shows in a row. The error occurs shortly after commencing the next show (say 10 seconds into the next selected show)
We have tried clearing the browser cache but this doesn't fix the problem. I'd suggest that the problem isn't solved.
Any other suggestions?

Hi there,
For good measure, open up the PS3 browser directly (go to Network -> Internet Browser) - then press 'triangle' and go to 'Tools' - choose Delete Cookies, Delete Search History, Delete Cache and Delete Authentification Information.
Shut down your console, restart, and then load ABC iView again.
Does this happen with any show you might be watching, or have you only noticed it when playing the short shows you've mentioned?
If the problem persists, can you please advise which shows you've been playing? (if you don't mind) and we can perform some tests locally to compare.

Just to clarify - you are using a PS3?

Tried it. If I watch more than two Peppa Pigs in a row I get the "browser is out of memory error" and my wife threatens me with a blunt instrument.
However we can watch a whole episode of New Tricks with no problems or domestic violence.

I've suffered this problem since ivew became available via the PS3.
It only occurs after watching one or two programs of around 45min or longer [say 2 episodes of one series], then on switching to a different program the error message will come up, either immediately or 1 or 2 minutes into the program.
As mentioned above, getting out of iview and restarting it solves the problem, but it's annoying having to do this as it doesn't happen when watching iview via PC.

Clearing the Cache and authentication information seemed to resolve the issue for a couple of days, however the same problem is back "out of memory".
Interestingly in the days where I didn't get the "out of memory" error, I occasionally just got a blank screen which required a hard reset of the playstation - it would not respond to the controller at all. The playstation needed to be reset and occassionally would do a file rebuild.
After a week of regular iview use this " blank screen " problem has now gone with the return of the "out of memory" error. The "out of memory" error at least is easier to live with, but a fix would be better.... Interesting I had never had the blank screen error before trying to fix the out of memory error.
I will await a fix.
