While playing Burnout on Saturday 12/03/2011 I left the room I was in and when I returned all my save was gone and the game started up as I was playing it for the first time. I tried to shut down the PS3 but when I did it started to install all sorts of demos of game's I have recently deleted. Came back the next day and started it up again and the save wasn't there still but when I went back on to Burnout all the people on my friends list I have been playing with have lost there saved data as well ( in the US and in the UK ). When ever I now leave Burnout now the PS3 shuts down totally and re-starts up again.
HELP ME PLEEEASE.

You're not alone. I saw this happen to 30 people last night who entered a single Burnout multiplayer sesion. Most of these guys had 400+ hours of pamplay invested. All that game data lost.
And I heare the same thing is starting to happen in GT5.
This is going to be a huge PR disaster for EA and Sony if they don't figure out what's going on, and quick. But for right now, no one has been talking about this online yet.

I believe I have figured out the reason behind this, however due to the "requirements" to cause people to lose their data, it's nothing something I am willing to discuss publicly. I can't comment on it happening to people on GT5, I don't play it, but it seems to be causing problems for people who play Burnout. Several of my friends all suffered from this. My main problem is not being sure who to contact about it.

I was in the Burnout session where this happened to BROTHERBROWN and GoddTodd. Luckily it didn't affect my saves.
SaberBlade: My recommendation for contacting someone about this would be to encourage everyone you know who suffered from this problem to post about it here. Otherwise, the likelyhood of an admin noticing this and reporting it to Customer Support will only decrease with time.

the playstation plus avatar pictures have virus in if you are using an image you have got from plus . When you enter a multi player room on burnout you wipe every bodys game data on that room ,when you look at showed players the person with the grey box and no image is the person infecting the room and when you quit the game the system resets and wipes data .

This has just happened to me yesterday morning at 10:45 Pacific time. I can no longer access the data from NFS Hot Pursuit, GT5 and Burnout Paradise, how convenient that they are all EA titles. I am so frustrated as I have logged so many hours and completed so much that now I have to redo it all. What worries me is that if I do all this again, what stops it form happening again? I feel ripped off for all the add ons I purchased for these games to just have to complete everything again.
