Can never host a 1 vs 1 Match

OK basically, I have just recently purchased a Netgear WNR 2000 Router.

Befor this I just used to use a switch, Which was fine untill we need more connections then just two open at one time.

It is a Wirelss but I connect my PS3 through it using the Wired connection.

Everytime, I host say a Cage Match in COD4.. The person connecting to me carnt connect/Get timed out/or they just hang- This happens on Little Big Planet too, If I invite sombody, They can NEVER connect to me.. Its times out or errors for them.

BUT.. If I Host a search and destroy in COD4 where there is more then one person everything works fine and there is no problems..
Is also fine if im connecting to any other mulitplayer game mode.

Its just getting really frustrating.. and I carnt understand why its doing what it is.
Never had problems just using my old switch.

Re: Can never host a 1 vs 1 Match

Try putting your PS3 into a DMZ there is a guide on how to do that here -

Also, do a quick google search on what ports COD4 uses and while you are running thru the above guide, make sure you open all of the ports listed.

These two should help you out a lot.
