Hello everybody, wanted to let you know that just a minutes ago i tried to add funds through my PS Vita, it worked. Just added 5 dollars. To be honest...didn't want to try again for obvious reasons...stil...tried a couple of minutes later (this time with 25 dollars) and didn't work, though it is not the NP-2244-2 error. A message appears saying funds couldn't be added. I will give it some hours and try again.
I didn't do anything to fix the problem, it just worked today. The fact that a couple of minutes later i couldn't add funds...i guess that's a normal response from the system to avoid multiple (therefore probably illegal) charges. However, i will let you know how it went.

As promised before, here is my update on the issue, after waiting a few hours i could add again 5 dollars.
Again, i didn't do anything to solve this NP-2244-2 issue, and seems like my guessing is right, you have to let some time between funds, no idea about how much time, my guess is it is 5-10 mins, although...if it doesn't allow you to add funds again even after 5-10 mins my advise is to not keep trying and give it some hours...why? i think PSN will block you otherwise, but who knows...i wish SONY WOULD CLARIFY HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO USE THEIR SYSTEM, as there is no advise from Sony about how to avoid/prevent this NP-2244-2 error, i mean so far what i know is that downloading more than one item at once from the PSN store gives you the damn error...but it is just speculation found in internet sites.
Sony if you solved the problem for me (because i sure did nothing but call Sony Mexico support who not only did nothing but also told me to do nothing and go buy PSN cards...), thanks a lot!! but stil...you owe us at least an explanation on how to prevent it...or if we can forget about it please tell us. Because i sure don't want to be blocked again, online content was WHY i bought the PS Vita.

For what it's worth I didn't have to change anthing on my router. The problem occured randomly for me, I only reset my router weekly and it wasn't a change of IP or any settings. And it just as randomly fixed itself.
Maybe they're working on a fix? Who knows, from problems I've had with PSN in the past I've found you get no feedback. You have to keep emailing support to be told multiple stories and hope that you can decide which is the fix for you.

hi i been a long time SONY customer and i dont feel like i been treated fairly by the company when i called the tech support by phone they told me this error code does not exsist but it does its all over the forums and no one has replied with a fix the error code is 80023102 i am confused b4 i could buy stuff from the ps3 store now i cant someone told me to buy stuff from the computer and put funds on there but that has nothing to do with this error code the fact is i can place funds on my account i have money sitting in the PS3 wallet but can't use it just everytime i try to buy a theme a game or a add on EX nhl playstation shop in game also shows me that error. iv had this problem for quite a while and everytime i call sony about it they give me some BS excuse. I basicly gave them money into there pockets that i can't use my money just sittin in the wallet and when i asked for REFUND they said NO. So at least FIX the problem so we can buy stuff on the PSN NETWORK not let our Money just sit there. MY PROBLEM IS I CAN ADD FUNDS TO WALLET BUT CANT USE THEM ***** SONY *****

I was finally able to add funds, today.
I waited a week (8 days to be safe) from the last "Missed Charges" listed in the transaction history, then added $10.
Note that I didn't change anything with the credit card detail; I just waited. At this point I'm a little reluctant to try again, too soon.

@shockerhippy, tried those ports along with a few others. Closed them after trying. Too many ports open can lead to malware and spyware to creep in, so just make sure you haven't exposed your completely I would suggest closing ports you don't use

Having the same problem. I also tried to add funds via PSN and was told that my credit card details were incorrect. I checked and they are correct - identical to my billing info. Also I have used this card a number of times successfully. I was able to buy stuff from the store with existing funds.
I don't accept that this is something that "we" - the customers of Sony have to sort out by contacting local agencies or fiddling about with stuff. It's something that Sony have to sort out.
