I was promised a call about this four days ago. Never got one. This is just pathetic,so im currently in contact with watchdog,anyone interested in sharing thier concerns about this let me know. Im guess im guna have to be the one to blow this thing wide open and take the fight public

Ok heres an interesting update for all people who have been intouch with sony and theyve denied responsiblity. I tried to purchase a game with no funds in my wallet,meaning the ps store would automatically fund my wallet. When I did,surprise surprise, it brought up an errorcode 80023103,i imediately went to the forum support where it explains the error codes,this is the quote ON A PLAYSTATION WEBSITE : "description: cannot connect to playstation network, this may be caused by scheduled maintance or"and I quote:"ISSUES WITH THE PLAYSTATION NETWORK SERVERS"!!! Sony it says on your own website that your servers have issues: or are you guna tell us theres maintance just for us that are affected?! Now this couldbe my last post guys because the only response ive ever got from thirg forum is from amod telling me not to swear,so... Start f@#.!ing responding to us then! When I get my reply from the bbc website watchdog im guna take this public. All we wanted was the ability to buy games,you brought this on yourself sony

I have the same problem, try to add funds to a PSN Card of 50 usd and I get the message: The funds not could be added to your wallet. 4 days have passed and still I can not add funds to my psn card

Hi, I got my Vita 2 days ago, downloaded 5 games, spent some dolars, and when I tried to buy Fifa Football I got np-2244-2 error and I am living in Turkey! 

 

THIS PROBLEM IS WORLDWIDE AND CANNOT BE IGNORED!

 

Any other company would have take these easy steps to solve this problem.

 

Analyze it,

Find the source or sources of this problem, 

Try to fix it, 

If you cannot fix it, accept the problem publicly and give correct info to your customers,

If you still cant fix it, apoligize to your customers and ask for time,

Then either fix the problem, give people their money back and call back your *****ty product until the problem is dealt with. 

 

I dont know why did I even bothered to buy this stupid thing, I paid for the console, then I paid for the memory card which should have been included to package in the first place, I paid for the games, and now I have to wait for days? 

 

No sir, I wont wait a second longer, I am turning back this piece of crap back tommorrow, and getting a 3DS, atleast Nintendo will accept my money when I want to buy something.

I just wanted to express my own frustration with this error, though unlike a lot of you it sounds like I may have brought this on myself.

 

I bought a Vita late last week and last night decided it would be a good idea to buy something for it using a Mastercard gift card I received as a gift a couple of months ago. Unfortunately not a lot is made clear with these cards beyond its number, expiry date and security code. It took a handful of different attempts to get the card accepted, it looks like the name had to be a specific generic name. I thought i'd gotten it working, but alas i ran into similar problems to those mentioned in this thread - failure to add funds and the error message NP-244-2 to be specific. Judging bg this thread i screwed myself over bg making mulfiple attempts to gst the gift card working.

 

As a hail mary of sorts I decided to change back to my original billing details that have long worked without an issue, but I'm guessing all this messing about has put a block on my account because they no longer work either. Hopefully it will just be a matter of leaving it for a week - it's unfortunate though, I was planning on picking up the Sly Trilogy while it was for sale (at a really awesome price for Plus Subscribers).

 

It's a realshame there aren't simple solutions to these problems, having to wait a week because noone is capable of overriding this sort of block seems shortsighted - though I'm far from a security expert.

 

Hoping the problem resolves if I leave it for a week. And though it's likely pointless to leave this sort of feedback here I really think Sony should find a better way of solving these issues. It'd be nice if the store were more specific about what problem it is having, I shouldn't have to rely on Google for extended information or make an expensive phonecall.

Hi everyone, I'm from Italy and I would like to share my experience with this issue. It's about a week that me and my girlfriend cant buy anything from the PS Store because of this error 80023102...and we tried with 2 different credit cards and several account with no luck. Hope this problem will be fixed soon, cause its getting annoying. Sorrry for my poor english xD

Just ran into this issue trying to buy Journey. I used the same card to buy Flower a week ago, no problem. Aside from playing Flower the night I bought it, I haven't even touched my PS3 since then.

 

I've got to say, it's not a very good user experience to be denied a purchase at the *end* of the checkout process with nothing but a cryptic error # to guide you.
