I recently tried to rent a video from the PS Video Store but got this message:

Another PS3 system is already activated with your Playstation Network Account for video content.

I can't download anything until this is sorted. Games are downloading ok it's just videos. This could either be one of two things.

1. I have activated it on my last PS3 that died from YLOD last February

2. Someone has found my details and activated it on their PS3

Either way I need to deactivate it and don't Know how seeing as I haven't got access to the other PS3's.

Could anyone tell me how to get help on doing this.

haveing the same issue got the ylod on my old 40gig like 4 times(fixed it myself,everytime) and got fed up and bought a slim and backed up my info formated the drive and restored the info on the same HDD in my new slim so i CAN NOT deactivate it now,ok sony now how am i supossed to give you more of my money and us your video services if you wont let me or dont have some sort of a way to work around this BS? lol

Contact Sony and ask for the old system to be deactivated:

Only one activation is allowed for video services.

I rang Sony up on the number you gave me jmmart99 and they took my details and confirmed the video account was activated on my old ylod PS3. They're passing my details on to thier tech guys to sort out and will email me when it's done in 2-3 days.
