New disc (no scratches) - loads new software update (Ver 1.40) on starting.

Screen shows MW4 logo and question 'Confirm?' and 'Yes' or 'No' options.

Can toggle between the Yes and No but does not accept either answer.

Tried deleting Saved Game Data and restarting but same thing happens.

Any suggestions?

I've since seen other comments on this issue.
Game works if the internet connection disabled.
Interested to see if Sony ever come up with a solution though.

Nothing to do with Sony it's a Activision, Infinity Ward or Treyarch problem. 

Usual fixes are rebooting router, disabling media server connection on PS3, setting up DMZ for the PS3 or switching off any Utorrent applications on your computers.
