I've been playing online since setting it up a couple of days ago with no problems but today it wouldn't load anything network related so i ran the connection test it succeeds with everything except for the download and upload speed which fails and now can't use browser, home or anything. Has anyone else encountered this problem or know how to solve it? The WEP and ISP and DNS are all correct. Thanks

I have hasn't made any difference still connects everything else just fails on the speeds

Can you still play online? My PS3 sometimes fails on the speed checks when I change my DNS settings but I don't have any problems with online gaming or browsing with the PS3 browser.

my connection test is even wors the obtaining ip adress is working and the internet connection is working but the playstation network is coming up with failed this has only started happening since i bought a new faster router because my old one has broken it cannot be a dns error as all three on the pcs in the house are working i have tried running the ps3 without any of the pcs on the network sometimes it signs me in but doen't let me download anything from the store or play games online what can i do please helpppppp

what ISP are you with - is it AOL?

(if so, you need to set your PS3 MTU setting to 1400)
