Connection issues, error codes 80710102, 800100B, 8002AD23 etc

Hi

 

No doubt this has been asked a million times before but here goes:

 

I can connect to the PSN for a little while (10 mins or so), then I get a message on the screen saying "Reconnect Controller" (this happens even if controller connect via USB cable). The battery is fully charged. A few seconds later, even if I connect the controller via the USB cable, I am disconnected from whatever came I am in the middle of. It will then tell me that I have lost connection with the server. And then I will lose connection to PSN. If I try to reconnect I get error code 80710102 and Suggested Actions. Most of the time the playstion freezes at this point and will not allow me to switch off.

 

If I play cames without connecting to the PSN the PS3 will still freeze after a short while. Every now and again I do get other error codes (as above).

 

I have tried a few things;

 

Reset router to default settings

Restored PS3 to default settings

Mannually added IP Address

Mannually added DNS Primary and Secondary

Standing on one leg and screaming at the Playstation.

 

None of these seem to have worked. The Playstation is about 6 months old

 

Can anyone help or point me in the right direction?
