I've followed all the instructions for deactivating my PS3 for game and videos, however when I try to activate my new PS3 slim for video, it keeps saying that another system is already activated for this service.

Check here to see the activation status of your consoles. It may be that you had somehow activated twice on the same console or the deactivation wasn't successful.

If there's a phantom console or you're otherwise unable to identify the problem with the information given there, contact customer support and explain to them. They should be able to deactivate it from their end allowing you to activate the new system
