that is a fairly generic "can't talk to the servers" type issue - are the other PCs ok when the 2nd laptop is turned on?

does the PS3 give a different error if the 2nd laptop is turned on first?
does the 2nd laptop have a static IP address allocated to it?

If you get the error again, can you run the network test on the PS3, and let us know where it fails?

I get this message and also get 80710102 error, I have no idea why.

It works at times then not again.

I have not changed any router settings and I have been online gaming for months and months with out fail.

It allows me to use the Internet browser but not sign in to the playstation net work.

Can you help??

could well be a DNS issue - which if it is, is easy to fix :)

From the XMB, go into settings, network settings.
Change them, and use manual instead of easy - but skip through all the screens without changing anything until you get to the DNS one.
here, change from auto to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
skip through rest, save and test :)

Hi SGTPickle,

First thing I would suggest is to simply turn the modem and router off for a couple of minutes and then back on again. Through your console re-establish a wireless connection and give that a shot. Sometimes if a setting or amendment is made from the ISP side, the reset will refresh the connection.

Let me know how you get on!
