Error (8008102E) on PS Store for Playstation Certified Devices

Just bought Ridge Racer Type 4 and Oddworld for my xperia play but I can`t download them and my account has been charged.. . It keeps saying: An error has occurred.(8008102E). How can I fix that? I thought that at least one day later I would be able to get these games, but nothing changed. The games also don't appear on my download list...

If you're experiencing issues downloading the game/s, I think a call to customer Support is in Order as it's a mobile device.

I'm not sure who you'd call for this but the PlayStation Support line numbers are available here

Re: Error (8008102E) on PS Store for Playstation Certified Devices

Same here but with RR4

Rang the PS Store support line on Friday (UK) They said they couldn't assist as they only deal with PSP/PS3 PS Store inquiries!?!?!?!????? (isn't the Playstation Store all one big thing?) Afterall they have charged me for that game, it shows on my DL list when I sign into my account on the SEN website!!!!!

Anyway I rang back today and spoke to someone else, again I was told they couldn't help but I was to phone Sony Hardware on Monday.....who's betting that they tell me to phone the PS Store people :-)

Re: Error (8008102E) on PS Store for Playstation Certified Devices

I was right!

Rang the 'other' number today - I didn't even get to speak to a person, it was that bad!

After numerous menus and options, the automated voice told me I had to ring the Playstation Store customer service! *****!!! I did, thats why I'm now phoning this number! ARRRGGGGGHHHH.

So I rang back the PS Customer number, got through to the 'Store' part, but this time I kept it simple, didn't mention that it was a game I had bought for my Xperia S using the PS Store app....just said I was getting an error after payment had proceeded, but the game (RR Type 4) wouldn't download.

Well it was an easy one for customer services....the store is down for maintenance.....but if I still couldn't DL tomorrow, I was to phone back.

All I can say is I hope this maintenance was 'one' of the reasons that it was down, to fix the store games for cert devices!!!!!

We'll see tomorrow!

The maintenance isn't to fix the issue you're having. It's just general PSN maintenance which locks them out of their systems too.
Give them a call after the maintenance window and see how you get on.

Re: Error (8008102E) on PS Store for Playstation Certified Devices

I am so glad I found somewhere online that was having the same problem as me.  I have paid for and been charged for Ridge Racer Tyoe 4 and Tekken.  I get the same error code as you.

I have called up Sony Mobile in the UK and they recommend calling Playstation support.  I wish someone could just tell me WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR IT?!!!!

It is unusual that with the older titles it says 'compatible with Xperia S and Tablet S' but the new ones come up 'compatible with PS3 and PSP systems'.  Has someone uploaded the wrong files?  If I wasn't so patient I would calling up trading standards to get my money back. (and calm)

I hope someone finally gets a solution for this.
