This issue is NOT solved... threads on 80710092 errors are all around. I think they are working on it, but they also state that it is only effecting a small group of us. All I know is just spent a LOT of money on this system that claims to do 'everything' and all I can do is what I did with my PS2... I don't want to take it back but if I can't get on to the PSnetwork than it's going back to the store, and I don't have much time left to make that decision. :xCry:

I can't do a update on any game error code pops up or it will get to 3 or 4 % and stop.. Need help been going on for months

so I got cod a few days ago and when I play it, it asks me for the 1.40 update. but when I say yes it say please wait then give me an error (80710092) . I have disabled media server and it still won't work help

If you're on Time Warner cable for your internet, try loading up the web browser...sometimes they'll force you to agree to their terms & conditions before allowing internet usage on your PS3. Just had that happen...was gone for a couple of days, came home, and couldn't log in. Tried the web browser, got a weird login screen that made me accept their privacy & TOS agreements, and PSN started working again.
