I'll start with the basics

My PSP is registered to my PS3, my FF8 is owned by my PS3 account an my PSP is activated to play PSN PSX games.

However I'm having a problem. When I copy FF8 to my PSP an try to play it i get the error code (CA000005)

I looked into this an it means the game is missing the KEYS.BIN file.

So I deleted it from my PSP an tried to re-copy to see if they same thing happened and it did.

I also own FF7 and I had no problems there, but for some reason when I copy FF8 over it does not copy the KEYS.BIN file....FF8 works fully on my PS3 btw I have had no problems there

Any suggestions please?

I'm at a loss

Argh! I'm having the same problem. I love Final Fantasy too much to not have it on my PSP! I even cleared my Dissidia data install to make room. =P Start posting solutions people!

ok it works on Official Firmware 6.20, needed to upgrade.

5.50 and below don't support it, no idea about any Firmwares inbetween.

Strange theres no keys.bin though

either way its working
