HDTV Signal loss on white screens

This problem has been bugging me for a while now, and I just can't stand it anymore. While playing my PS3 every time the screen is white, or mostly white the TV loses signal. (It goes black, blinks and comes back 3 seconds later). There is a lot of white screens during explosions, hockey, snowboarding ect. I cant even zoom in on Google, or even the Kotaku website, as it would still lose signal.

I am using component cables to my HDTV.

I have tried with both superwhite on and off to no avail.

Anyone else have any ideas?

Re: HDTV Signal loss on white screens

guess the first thing to do is see if it is your TV, or the PS3, or the leads (unlikely) :smileyhappy:

if you can, try it on a different TV with the same leads.
If not, try the composite connection to your TV and see what happens :smileyhappy:

* YLOD? * *PSN Connection Problems?* *Blu Ray Problems

And we weren't even testing for that..
