HELP!! cant play battlefield 3 after new update!!!!!!

turned on battlefield 3 last night only to have some new update atomatically download & now i can't play battlefield 3. this is infuriating!! i never even play online games now i cant even play single campaign mode when the game starts to load i get a saving sign (it shouldn't even be saving anything!!!!) & just keeps going back to same game start up screen with the message "Disconnected from EA online" *****!!!!!!!!!!!

 

this is fing stupid, why the hell do i have to even be connected to "EA Online" to play single player mode!!

 

i've looked all over the net & hundreds of people are having this problem so  when the hell is sony going to make a new update fixing this. so now i've got a $90 game that wont even work!!

 

can anyhelp?

okay for anyone else having this problem i've found someone on another forum found a solution. you have to start your game from the begining of the level it wont work if you try to start from your save point you had before the update.. nice of sony to let people know about this
