Hi there...

Dont know if im posting this in the right forum but here goes...

Im having trouble connecting my ps3 to my laptop (windows 7) via an ethernet cable and mobile dongle.

Ive tried everything i can think of. My friends that are running theirs through the same system have tried but nothing seems to work..

Is there anybody on here who could talk me through from the begining of what i need to do..

Many thanks in advance

What equipment are you using? Do you have a router or just the mobile dongle itself? If you're connecting directly from a PS3 to a PC be sure you're using a "crossover" network cable.

Unfortunately running PS3 via mobile dongles is not the greatest solution. Ping times are notoriously high and the likely-hood of in-game lag is just as high.

In any case, if you give us a breakdown of exactly what equipment you're using, what steps you've taken so far and any errors you've encountered, we may be able to look into resolving this for you :)
