First off, I'm an idiot, all the wires are named by colours for me, not what they actually are.
I got a Logitech X-530 surround sound today, but when I plug it into my TV I get no sound at all on either the TV or PS3. I've looked around online and apparently all you need is this little black box that you plug the green, black and orange wires into, and then red and white wires go from that to the TV and it should work, but that's exactly what I've done and still no sound.
I can however plug only the green wire into the headphone jack on the TV and get sound but it only comes from the two front speakers and the sub, leaving the three other speakers rendered useless.
Any help is appreciated, but please don't use technical mumbo jumbo 'cause all you'll do is hurt my poor little brain...
And I'm aware that I wont get 'true' surround sound with these speakers, I just want them to all work. Thanks
