Right. Here's my problem.

Trying to connect to play online MW2 but when  go into the online menu it keeps coming up

Fetching playlist...

Fetching ranks & unlocks...

My PS3 has been on for an hour now and cant get connected to the server to play online.

Connection to the net is fine and am signed into the PSNetwork, also have the latest update.

Please someone shed some light on this

That happened to me once. Quit the game and go back and try, restart the system if it didn't work.
I'm sure it's no big deal to throw the ps for. By the time I wrote this I figure you already managed to play it online.

So tell me, when you THROW the PS3 are you hoping it will make it THROUGH the window?

as for the issue try forwarding the ports, there are MANY routers that are not online game friendly unfortunately. my biggest problem has always been with unchangeable NAT settings. CoD is one of the biggest tantrum throwers when it comes to NAT settings however all my CoD games are on my Xbox not my PS3 so I don't have console experience with this issue

throw the PS3 into your router's DMZ rather than out of the window

Just reset your router anytime you have this prob,works for me every time

Think I need to go back to school for English lessons. Wrote this in a RAGE so thats my excuse.

Have tried messing about with the ports and the router but to no avail. It is fine THROUGH the day but at nite when it gets busy I switch the PS3 on and have this problem. Its fine on all my other games.
