Hi Guys,

 

At the moment you may be experiencing some issues signing in with one of the following error codes:

 

80710092

8002A535

80710B23

 

This may be down to congestion on the network. I am currently looking into this and will update here when I have more information.

Hi guys,

 

These error codes are due to the PlayStation 3 having difficulties connecting to the PlayStation Network.

 

The first step is to confirm your PlayStation can connect to the Internet without any problems.  To do this open the PlayStation's Internet browser and attempt to load any website. 

 

If you can connect then your Internet service is running correctly.  If you cannot then there may be an issue with your Internet connection.

 

You can find a guide to setting up a wired connection here.  And a wireless connection here.

 

 

Next try to access the PlayStation Store.  If you can this would indicate there is an issue with the game you are using and you should contact the publisher for further assistance. 

 

If you cannot connect to the PS Store then the PlayStation Network could be down for maintenance the there could be Internet congestion in your area.  In both cases we would advise trying again later.

before couldant get into the store now i can still cant acess account management

i am getting the same problem  gettin the 8002a535 error code  tried everything  still not working   the internet browser working fine but cant sign in to psn on console   this need to be fixed

yh i seem to be getting this problem i recently just got a 3g dongle and i cant sign into psn i can browse the web without any problem but keep getting same error message that an error has occured you have been signed out of psn 8002a535 my id is djjohnt plz help

Getting 80710092 on one of my five PS3 machines. It is one of the old 60Gb originals. Same wireless connection and account works with thee slim version others. A wired 60Gb version also seems ok. However one of the slims is now reporting that I have exceeded my activation limit of five machines. Wondering if this is related. If you count the three that have failed and been replaced by Sony directly then logically I have. But then I was also assured by Sony support on both occasions that a unit was replaced that I could not deactivate that this was being dealt with. Indeed since the last one was replaced in July this has been the case until today. Not impressed ...

Turns out that the 80710092 error was down to parental controls on the modem. Should have thought of this. The error text refers to restarting the router so the hint is there. Something for others to keep in mind maybe. The activation issue mentioned in my previous post remains but is not really the point of the thread.

This is still an issue, I can't download the GT5 2.01 as it always crashes out and reconnecting to PSN is patchy at best, half of the attempts cannot establish a connection but internet connection is fine.

I tried everything under the sun to fix this issue on my end. I tried switching dsn servers, I tried static Ips. I tried DMZ. Something seems really messed up if i'm still getting a dns error when I switched dns servers.
