MAG Update Problems

Ok, so I had the MAG demo for a long time  I bought the full game from a friend yesterday. The updates all downloaded until I got to the "installing data" page. It kept getting stuck at 53%. I let it run over night for 7 hours and it didn't go past 53%. I then let it run again for 8 hours at still no progress. I have tried maybe 10 or 15 times now and it still isn't working. I tried disabling media servers and deleting the demo and its save data. I have also deleted the old betas I had and their data. I have switched PSN's, and wifi networks. After I switched networks it started getting stuck at around 45-50%. The disk is barely scratched and cleaning it doesn't help. Any suggestions?

Re: MAG Update Problems

Try deleting all data, including save data from the other versions of the game as there may be some sort of conflict between versions. Also, make sure you delete the Game Data before installing as that may be preventing it completing.

You may want to try rebuilding the system database, though I wouldn't try that until you've done everything else first.

Here's a guide to Safe mode :smileyhappy:

Rebuild Database, and Restore File System may help towards resolving your issue.
