When you set up online gaming for the first time you will need to enter a few things. These are your serial number for your PS2 (found on the back of the console) and the serial number for the network adapter (found on the adapter). When you sign up (Via ur PS2) you will need to set up an account with central station where you enter a user name and password. You will also need to enter a PIN to "fully activate" your account. When you first sign up you will receive a temporary PIN valid for 60 days or so. You will be prompted to request a PIN when you sign up.Just enter a few details on your PS2 and you will receive a welcome letter with your PIN. This is also your acess code. Jst log in 2 central station when you get it and enter in your code and your done.

Did you not read the first post? He has a slimline you div, he doesn't have a serial number for the network adapter because he doesn't have or need one!

The Net code comes on a small slip of paper inside the box with all the instruction manuals and stuff. If you've lost it ring up Sony or email them(details are on this site somewhere) and just explain to them the problem and they should give you a new one with no hassle. Other than that, you can begin playing online today if you want. Stick in any non Sony game(without Golden Diamond on box) and find an option to create a network configuration file. Once thats done your PS2 is ready to go and you can play any non Sony endorsed game. You'll need to get that code before you can play the Sony games though(SOCOM, Killzone etc)
