Re: Official PS3 headset problems

Hi

I'm having problems with my headset it does not want to pair with the ps3.  Have you got any suggestions I have tried it with both the usb cable and the dock and the same problem.  I tried switching it onand holding the power button until it alternated between green and red.  This works until I try and connect directly or with the cradle it just goes solid red and the power goes off.  I just don't know what to do.  Can anyone help please.

Re: Official PS3 headset problems

It sounds like it might not be holding a charge for whatever reason, though I could be wrong.

If it's not pairing by any means have you tried charging it from a different USB source?

Sorry, that's all I can suggest.

Re: Official PS3 headset problems

i got the new ps3 headset as a gift a couple months before mw3 came out, got it all setup.. it worked fine on black ops great sound, now mw3 comes out and it worked with no problem at first then out of no where it causes me to lag really really bad now when im online in multi player, so bad that i can no longer use it when playing mw3.. ive tried re-setting it with no improvement at all and its very upsetting... does anybody have an idea whats wrong or how to correct it, has anyone else had the same problems with this paticular headset while online in game play

Re: Official PS3 headset problems

Hi SHOTzINdaDARK,

Welcome to the forums!

It is not likely that your headset is causing lag with online game play, thats not something I have ever herd of.

It is more likely that you are experiencing lag for another reason.  Does this happen on any other games?

I know that there has been some pretty bad lag on COD over the last few days so it might pass once they have sorted the issue out.

Re: Official PS3 headset problems

Hi, so I am having trouble with chat, I have my mic set up right and I have the parental control set at 11, I had it set at 0 as well and it doesn't seem to work, every time I go to play a game online or chat with a friend it says its disabled.  I don't know what else to do, my internet is satelite so its pretty slow, I am not sure if that would affect it and I can't really play online cause the lag is something else...any ideas or suggestions?  Thanks
