Hello!

My trusty old ps3 clunked off during use the other night. It'll try and briefly fire up, but just beeps a few times & shuts instantly down. It seemed like CD drive was jammed. Took apart & retreived black ops disc. It still didnt work. It hasnt played DVD's for about 18months so I figured I was on borrowed time.

I'm going to buy a new slimline PS3 but was wondering how I can still get access to the expansion packs for MW2 & black ops that I've downloaded. I figure I could redownload them in some way  from the ps store, but can I do that onto a new console??

When you set up your account on the new PS3 (using the old PS3s username/password/email address) just go on to the store, go to the "view downloads" list and download the map packs again.

I figured it was possible, but was a bit worried it would all be tied in to my old console.
